WILD FLORIDA is an original WPBT production that will make you wild about Florida!

This exciting nature series explores Florida’s unique ecosystems and the animals that inhabit them. Join host Hunter Reno as she explores the sunshine state’s last remaining wild and scenic places, from the remote Coral Reefs in Dry Tortugas National Park to the scrub habitat of the Lake Wales Ridge.

Each episode of WILD FLORIDA accompanies Reno on a mission to learn more about Florida’s natural environment. Despite a rapidly growing human population and continued urban sprawl, the sunshine state is still wild enough to be home to an amazing number of species and habitats, including the world’s third largest barrier reef and the famous Florida Everglades.

For three years, Reno traveled the state -- from the Panhandle to the Florida Keys --showcasing sanctuaries, wildlife rehabilitation facilities, research centers and parks, and meeting the men and women who are committed to preserving and sharing Florida’s natural beauty.
