A site for aquarium hobbyists, backyard pond owners, water gardeners and others who are concerned about aquatic resource conservation. This organization is dedicated to the education and prevention of the releasing of exotic fish and plants into marine environments. Find out about responsible pet ownership, conservation activities and much more.

INVASIVE SPECIES WORKING GROUP (ISWG)
An organization formed by meetings with representatives from state and federal agencies. The Florida ISWG is comprised of representatives from nine state agencies and one university. The organization’s main goal is to prevent and manage invasive species in Florida.

An online resource dedicated to the education of exotic animal care. Here you will find information on how to care for exotic animals, laws regarding exotic animals, and advice on if they are the right pet for you.

FLORIDA FISH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMISSION
This Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission webpage is devoted to the number of invasive species in the Florida area. Here you will find statistics and lists of the known evasive species that inhabit this region.

CENTER FOR AQUATIC AND INVASIVE PLANTS
The University of Florida’s Center for Aquatic and Invasive Plants is dedicated to the research of aquatic, wetland and invasive plants in Florida . This site is also home to the APIRS, a database with thousands of articles about plant ecology, physiology, utilization and control.
