FRIENDS OF THE ENCHANTED FOREST
These “Friends” provide assistance to the Environmentally Endangered Lands Program, as well as educate the public on issues related to the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary.

GOPHER TORTOISE COUNCIL
Formed in 1978, this organization conducts public education programs, as well as provides advice for the management, conservation and protection of the Gopher tortoise and other upland animals found throughout the Southeastern United States.

THE TURTLE TRUST
As the world’s largest tortoise and turtle website, this group educates keepers and professionals in correct husbandry; actively supports conservationist groups; promotes beneficial research on the species and helps re-home turtles in need.
