THE TURTLE HOSPITAL
This medical center is one of only two treatment facilities in Florida that receives and provides medical care to sea turtles infected with the Fibropapilloma virus.

ARCHIE CARR NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE
The 248-acre refuge between Melbourne Beach and Wabasso Beach, Florida provides essential nesting habitats for approximately one-fourth of all the sea turtles nesting in the United States.

MOTE MARINE LABORATORY
As the pioneer research center for sharks, Mote Marine has expanded its efforts to all aspects of ocean life. Its mission is to “…strengthen the scientific basis of public policy and societal decision-making for economic development and sustainability of our oceans and coastal ecosystems.”

NESTS
Neighbors Ensuring Sea Turtle Survival provides residents and associations living on, or located near, Florida’s sea turtle nesting beaches with useful information and activities to help protect these marine animals and their habitats.

SEA TURTLE PRESERVATION SOCIETY, BREVARD COUNTY, FL
The goal of this not-for-profit society is to help protect Florida’s marine turtle populations through public awareness and education. The Sea Turtle Preservation Society (STPS) also works in conjunction with the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge by overseeing the management of the Carr Refuge Fund.

TURTLE ISLAND RESTORATION NETWORK
Track Pacific Loggerhead turtles, get updates on the latest sea turtle news, or play fun games. The Sea Turtle Restoration Project (STRP) “fights to protect endangered sea turtles in ways that make cultural and economic sense to the communities that share the beaches and waters with these gentle creatures.”

CARIBBEAN CONSERVATION CORPORATION AND SEA TURTLE LEAGUE
This Florida-based, non-profit organization works toensure the survival of sea turtles within the wider Caribbean basin and the Atlantic through research, education, training, advocacy and the protection of the natural habitats upon which they depend.

SWOT STATE OF THE WORLDS SEA TURTLES
This worldwide organization works as a centralized database for sea turtle specialists who strive to protect sea turtle populations and their habitats.
